Pumpkin Patch 2009

We made our annual trip down to Half Moon Bay this past Sunday to visit our favorite Pumpkin Patch and had a great time, well sort of. Even though this is an annual event for us, we didn't realize that this past weekend was THE HMB ANNUAL PUMPKIN FESTIVAL and that another couple thousand people would be joining us in the normally sleepy little seaside town. We sat in traffic for a little over an hour for a ride that normally takes about 20-30 minutes. Kate was thrilled as the photos below will illustrate...
Kate are you having fun? Not so much. In her defense Angela and I felt about the same way, and this was towards the end of the hour in bumper to bumper traffic over the San Mateo hills.

This one is our favorite! "I'm MAD" she said.
Once we got there though it was a totally different story. Kate digs a good Pumpkin Patch!

Kate and Dad pose for a picture in front of the Pumpkin Depot Truck. Remember KDG's first visit to the patch, she couldn't yet stand on her own and look at her now.
This little girl and Kate hit it off right away, of course that was after she put the smack down on another little girl who didn't want to share the pots and pans.

We had to bribe Kate with popcorn to get her off of the tractor, she loved it.

Oh what great pics. Kate is such a joy. We can't wait to see you all again. I guess we will wait until after the new one is born, so we can see everyone. Kate must need a hat rack for all her co-ordinating hats she has. Looks like you had a blast at the pumpkin patch even though I agree about traffic tie ups. Love to all of you. Give each other hugs and kisses for me. Love, Aunt Cincie. PS Go Angels, beat those x?!z Yankees.
