Today was Anna's last day taking care of Kate, a sad day. It was on my mind all day at work. I know that Anna and Angela both had tears in their eyes when Angela left for work, leaving Anna and Kate to play games, explore new parks and meet the local gang at the various playgrounds they have enjoyed over the past three years. Being that today is a Wednesday it works out that I am the one who was home when it was time for Anna to say good bye to Kate. As it turns out 3 year olds don't yet grasp the concept of forever, and the only dry eyes in the house were Kate's. Kate stood at the top of the steps waving and yelling after Anna as always, but this time she didn't yell out "I'll see you on Friday". She might not understand forever, but she knew what was going on. We had a long soft hug in the entry way after closing the door and then she asked if we could open birthday presents. I think she'll be ok.

On a lighter note here's what became of a couple of our Pumpkins...

And of course the Philly's beat the Yankees in Game One tonight. Cliff Lee pitched a complete game. Way to go Indians that was a great trade.
