We had a busy weekend putting Ikea furniture together, taking it apart and putting it back together (the right way). Then taking Ikea furniture back to Ikea to exchange for the right color and then put more Ikea furniture together. Angela thinks someone should start a business offering the service of putting Ikea furniture together. Pretty good idea I'd say. Anyway Kate and Dudley were a big help keeping track of the hundred or so nails, screws, nuts, bolts and other bits and pieces that were involved in assembling the new stuff. All said at least now we can finally unpack the last suitcases and boxes from the move, and I'll be able to find sox in the morning. 5 different items in all, with 5 sets of absolutely silly instruction illustrations. More to the point of the post. It was also a first blood weekend, KDG wiped out on an adventure to the playground. I say adventure because pretty much anything is an adventure these days. A walk around the block to let Dudley "out", going down to the garage to get the laundry or just going back to her room to find her "pink baby". We have a grazed knee and a scratched elbow to show off at school tomorrow...

All in all Kate took it pretty well. Angela said she was fine when it happened but it got increasingly dramatic once home . She'll tell you she's a tough chick, but she enjoys a little sympathy. She still looks tough.
She also enjoys a good bath! Check her out with her ears under the water. I remember doing that when I was a kid (last week) but you can't and hopefully don't want to see pictures of that.
