Hi everybody long time no blog, hope your all enjoying the summer so far. Kate, Angela, Dudley and I are all doing well, staying busy with all the fun stuff that life throws at us on a daily basis. Kate is now involved in all kinds of activities gymnastics, music class and swimming. She has become quite chatty as well and now repeats the last word of pretty much every sentence that she hears.
It is amazing to me how she learns new things, some of which almost seem pre-programmed. For instance one morning a few weeks ago I was getting ready to leave the house for work and she walks up to me grabs my hands and proceeds to stand on my feet. So we walked around the house like that for a little while, and it has now become a daily routine before I leave in the morning. Oh and have you ever seen a kid walk up to a pair of shoes that are like 10 times to big for them, slip their feet in and start to walk around? Kate is doing that now, all of the time. How many times have you seen a kid do these things, countless times right? But who teaches them to do it? I didn't Angela didn't she just did it. Pre-programmed cute!
The other day one of my colleagues who has a daughter a few months younger than Kate asked me what new things she was doing. At first I thought not much really, she is just doing the same cute stuff she always does in between throwing little tantrums, sticking her bottom lip out (even further) stomping her feet and saying "NO, no, no". Well that is kind of new actually. Here are a few other new things:
Running (seriously the other day I put her down and she just took off into the crowd)
Dancing and singing (so far thankfully she has a better voice than Angela and I put together)
Every night at bath time as soon as the last piece of clothing is removed and before we can get her in the tub she takes off streaking around the house giggling with Dudley chasing after her licking her naked butt.
I think that is the image I will leave you with for now.
Until next time,
Adios.

Oh my it was so good to see new pics. We did get to see the ones from Paris. You 3 seem to be taking great c are of each other. Kate is adorable and Great Grammie and I can't wait to come out and see her and you 2 also. It was great seeing the Indians hat on Kate, but not sure if you were doing that as a taunt since the Giants have won the first two games. Just remember you have Omar from the Indians. Thanks for the update. Love, Aunt Cincie
The picture of Kate wearing the Indians hat is her doing an impression of CC Sabathia. I knew you would like it.
The photos are wonderful. Kate looks so much older and toddler like than she did just 3 months ago. It is fun to hear you describe her doings. I'm very happy to see but even more pleased to read your take on her and life in general. These are modern times.
Love, Mom
